Isla de la Palma

When: August 22-23, Friday evening through Saturday afternoon

Where: TBA (In Cache Valley)

A camp fire and some treats will be available for sharing stories and celebrating the wonderful summer we are having. An invite has been sent to specific teams in the state and you must sign up for the event in advance. Any last minute participants who do not let me know they are coming will be charged an entrance fee to the event which will go towards the treats. So sign up now!

Operation: G.E.L.F - Genetically Engineered Life Form
Intel has supplied us with information about about an underground terrorist cell that has designated themselves as Draconians. This faction has been been traced to involvement with the London bombing, pirating off the coasts of Africa, and general purpose swindling. Our most recent information has uncovered the organizations most recent attempt at global domination. On the Isla de la Palma off the coast of Morocco a facility has been running under the guise of a sign making company. The lab is located within the canyon on the island and is heavily guarded. An escaped native has informed us that the Draconians have been performing human experiments in an attempt to create what appears to be a super soldier. We don't have many details on exactly what has been happening on the island but from the tests that have been run on our informant we have found traces of an altered form of a Togaviridae virus. Its effects are still undetermined, but with how quickly the virus spreads we are greatly concerned with containing it.

It has been decided that a small squad will be sent in to secure the facility and detain any of the scientists who have been working on this project for questioning. Once we have an understanding of what we are dealing with we will be able to send in our larger second unit for cleanup and processing.

Summary of Objectives: Eliminate perimeter defenses, secure the scientists in the main compound, and prepare area for incoming forces. According to our informant there may still be survivors of the human testing and several guards who helped smuggle him out that will need to be liberated.

-Report to the Infirmary to receive the most up to date vaccine in relation to the viral strain and further instruction.
